Dr. Gabriela Hobbs is the Clinical Director of the Leukemia Service at MGH and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She was raised in Mexico City. She completed her undergraduate degree in biotechnology and psychology at Tufts University and attended medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Hobbs joined the faculty at MGH in 2014, where she established an MPN clinic and research program. Dr. Hobbs leads multiple investigator-initiated clinical trials in MPNs, as well as non-interventional trials assessing outcomes of patients with MPN.
